Taking It To The Wall
(01.12.05)

(Day 96) Today I hit a wall on the creativity side. Everything looked a bit blah except for this wall. I guess you just keep shooting until you get over the wall, huh. ;)

The area I'm in is covered with brick walls and buildings, but not all have this kind of texture. I've shot this wall at least three times in the last few weeks. The lighting makes all the difference.

LOL the comments below! I know when I feel I've run out of creative gas, I sometimes take my best pictures.

You captured it really well here. I love old brick walls too. This is nice with the moss covering part of it to show the age.

Great texture. I like the line of brighter bricks on the left for contrast.

You have here some of my favourite things, LC. A rustic view of aged bricks & lichens, then there's a great crop, light & shadow. Would like to *hit* a brick wall as artistically as that.

Hmmm, I guess when that happens I shoot bricks. (See my PaD for today.)

I read or see a movie, anything to take my mind of my photos for a second. This usually helps me think in a different way and think of something new to shoot or maybe a new way to look at an old photo.
