Over Shenandoah
(01.06.05)

It was a traveling day... 6 hours in the car and 3 hours in meetings. The drive going was dismal, with visibility in fog only about a car length in places, but on the way home the cloud cover weakened to let just a little light through. This is the pass over the Shenandoah Mountains looking on to Devil's Nob. It is an incredible sight to see on a clear day.

It's a great landscape shot, LC, despite the conditions. I really like the winding road ... it makes the image a little more interesting and complete.

Beautiful, not so sure I would want to travel roads in the mountains when it is foggy though, gulp!!
