Rudolf the Red-Nosed Puppet???
(12.02.04)

Taken from a shop window while on my way home from work last night. In case you're wondering about that price tag... you can have this 3ft. tall marionette for a mere $1000 US dollars plus shipping of course.

P.S. Funny reading the early comments. Amazing what Hollywood can do to a poor clown. I don't do horror movies so it just looks joyful to me.

A great and creppy shot (probably too much Stephen King)

Ummm, would I or wouldn't I? I do like the little creation, colorful and intriguing. Could I justify the amount? No. So I shall view your image of him. *smile*

I think he's lovely and worth every penny. Of course, I don't have a spare $1000, but he's stunning! Good photo!

Guess I've seen too many horror films. This is scary to me. Great photo.

Nice shot, but these guys really creep me out!

I wouldn't call it exactly scary, but still there's something unsettling about the expression. Interesting shot.

I see this has a happy image! Quite striking!

Well... I have to say I too will never be able to look at clowns/marionets the way I used to. I can see the freakyness and I don't want to. But there's nothing I can do about it :-/

the sinisterosity!

Yeah... but your currency's practically worthless just now - still, I wouldn't pay £500 for it. That's right, I wouldn't pay £400 for it :-)

The colors are wonderful!

What a wonderful find. I'm glad you had your camera when you spotted this - it looks so old fashioned - a collector's item. The colour and framing is great and I like how he looks out the window at you - scaring the daylights out of some of our group :)

Gee .. it's pretty life-like, almost surreal.
So you're buying a matching pair, right?

i would not want that clown in my house. i would be terrified it would do a chuckie on me. ~nice capture.

Gotta side with Geoff... This one is puttin' the freak on me a bit!
