Play of Lights

This is the Capitol arcade connecting the House of Burgesses and the General Court. I liked the way the lighting illuminated all the nooks and crevices.

Makes me want to walk through it. Wonderful lighting. Had to be a difficult exposure to not blow out the sky.

I like your pick - the juxtaposition of natural light to the glowing
bulb surrounded by the golden archway is very striking.
