The Iron Gate

(Day 29) I am looking at iron gateways with a keener eye these days and I am surprised at the wonderful detail, texture, and abstract patterns that I had never noticed before. This is a portion of the gate leading to the Govenor's Palace in Colonial Williamsburg.

From the same gate, here is the next letter for my Alphabet gallery.. the letter i.

It is lovely. And the composition makes it visually interesting as well.

Things can be so interesting in form and detail when viewed in isolation. Nicely done.

Isn't it interesting how this PaD thing makes the eye catch stuff that we used to never see. This is a great image with its texture and shadows. Thanks for showing it to me.
Cheers
