9/8 Deer Creek Cemetery

My thanks to all of you for your wonderful comments and votes on the picture(s) of the cemetery I uploaded the other night. I'm in the process of putting together a book on the Cemeteries of Livingston County Michigan, for the local library. I will also be sending gallery links to libraries and archives all over to use for Genealogy purposes. I'm adding detailed maps of all the excact locations for each cemetery. The process is very time consuming as there are several cemeteries in each twp and some of the roads are about back in the bush down narrow almost single lane roads. It's really interesting and challenging and I find that most cemeteries don't even have signs on them.
I really liked the tree in this shot. It looks like those in the South that have Spanish moss drooping from their branches.

That tree is fantastic, sheltering the quiet graves with its branches. And it's a beautiful, somber shot of it.
