A well fed root system.
This tree had the biggest gnarled root system on it I've ever seen.
Straight from the camera with no enhancements just changed to black and white.

Sometimes as here, black and white works better than color might. That big old tree adds such a great sense of strength and stability. Good job, Char!

Nice cemetery shot Char. There's one in Cincy that gives maps out to visitors in case one were to get lost. I've spent many an afternoon there with a camera. The opening of the movie "Rainman" was filmed there at the funeral shoot.

This tells a story with the old tombstones. I bet someone planted a sapling at a gravesite 100 years ago. Wonderfully composed and captured and nice pp. V.
