I took this last evening as I was leaving my son's house.
He's walking a dog (a Pitbull)* that he acquired in a very strange way.
A few days ago he saw black smoke bellowing and drove down a back road
coming upon a house and garage fire. The man and the dog that lived there were in
the yard and they were both hysterical. You can only imagine the situation.
The fire department hadn't arrived yet.
After everything was under control my son offered to take the dog and the man
was glad for him to do it.

*My son isn't keeping the dog permanently only until the man and his son (who was not there at the time) can get a little more settled. Right now they're living in a motel so my son will keep the dog and take care of her until things are more settled for them. What a sad experience for them. My son had never met the man until that night.
