Ask that red cardinal in the background to come up and peck him as she flies by(OK I am guessing on both their genders...:-).....a RED CARDINAL !!Man I have never even seen one in the wild.

Love the story in this image. Nice work, Char.

How? Make a noise like a cat. Great shot.
Neal Nye07-Jan-2013 05:06
You can't. They're smarter than we are!

It varies from difficult to impossible. Our feeder is on a second story deck, (no stairs) on a rare occasion an athletic squirrel will jump from a high tree branch and land on the feeder.

An impossible task. Sweet shot with all the colorful birds waiting their turn. V

Maybe they can fly over him and leave a memento. Great catch, Char! V

If they figure it out, let me know. Great catch with the Cardinals all around.

I was going to say he brought his friends when I saw the photo. Of course, he's hogging the bird food. Great detail on the squirrel and love the cardinals waiting in the trees. V.

Neat and story-telling image Char. It took me many years of frustration before finally outsmarting the Squirrels. One year, I transplanted some 33 Squirrels, only to find a Vacancy sign up when I got back home. At the end of the summer, I had as many Squirrels as at the start. LOL
