Grand Old Buildings

I found the old buildings in Chicago really interesting.
Recently I've started reading Devil in the White City by Erik Larson
I've had the book a long time and had started to read once a while ago but then would put it
aside for something more interesting because it's kind of like a textbook.
It's the story of the architects and their constructions of the old buildings in Chicago
with an emphasis on the construction of the Chicago World's Fair in 1893.
The Congress Plaza (where we stayed) was built in 1893 to accommodate visitors to the World's Fair.
It was designed by Sullivan and Adler and called the Auditorium.
Congress Plaza Hotel
Louis Sullivan and Dankmar Adler also worked on constructing the World's Fair.

A fine shot of that old façade as well as an interesting story. They created such an interesting texture on that wall. And your shot is so nicely composed with that foreground tree.
