This shot really jumped out at me when going through this gallery. Perhaps it's the subject matter, or perhaps it's the treatment you gave the image, but I really find the antique look of the image very appealing. Looks like you all are having a lot of fun with this project!
Such a beautiful and moody image and a wonderfully artistic "D". Wonderful tones and original rendering make this an unusual yet classic still life, full of atmosphere... Outstanding.
And your story is great! Yesterday I learned as well how dangerous it is to be looking for letters while driving. No accidents, but a definite warning to keep your eyes on the road, especially with that perfect "S" curve approaching rapidly! :~))
this is great...you actually have several letters that show well here and your "D" is the clearest of all...this is turning into a fun project, be it addictive, though... :)

I can see a few techniques here that are familiar and together they take this barrow out of the ordinary and make it a lovely picture. My wishes, that it was bigger :) and that we had barows like this here. Thanks for the laugh :)
B, I can arrange to send it to you within a heartbeat but I doubt you'd want it within a hundred miles of your home, this thing was dripping with wet cement in real life - ugly as ugly can be :)

I want that wheelbarrow for my living room - wouldn't it make a wonderful coffee table (or, I could tip it up and fill it with chocolates)!
It is so much pleasure to see different ideas everyone comes with each letter. And also I mentioned that everyone is following his own style. Very challenging project.
You found good shape of "D, Audrey, and created stylish picture of it. Artistic and in some way old-fashioned look.
I wonder how many strange and funny tales we would have gathered by the time letter 'Z' is completed by all.
So far, we have Betsy in a near car accident looking for a letter when her mind should have been on driving.
This wheelbarrow was taken with my pocket camera at a building site where I cleverly backed into a mount of wet cement; providing coworkers with hours of jokes & laughter - not to mention a good pair of trainers have now departed for trainer heaven!
