We have been traveling to Italy for many years, and have some of favorite haunts we frequent on each trip.
This friendly grocer has a small shop near our hotel, with everything we need for our picnics on the run,
especially our favorite "picnic on a park bench" in Borghese Park
on our way to our yearly visit to the Museo Borghese with its treasures by Bernini, Caravaggio, and other famous works of art.
We love to buy a fresh-cut chunk of Bel Paese cheese and fresh olives we to eat with newly baked olive rolls from a nearby bakery.
A better lunch on a park bench cannot be found !
