This large abstract early 20th c. painting by Sonia Delaunay hangs in the large main gallery in the Pompidou.
Created in 1914, the rotating circulating imagery in the painting is somewhat "soft focus",
with no really hard edges in the shapes.
The young man passing in front of it was moving relatively slowly, but my "less than sharp focus" seemed
to echo the softness of the painting, so I left it as it came "out-of-camera" because I Iiked it that way ! :-)
Much 20th and 21st century wall art is made on a grand scale, and having a human subject nearby gives it scale.
