A lot of churches are named "Notre Dame" and dedicated to the Virgin. Paris of course, has "the famous one".
Everyone goes there. We do too.
If you've never attended the free organ concert at Notre Dame at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoons,
you've missed a thrill of a lifetime hearing this 16th c. (but constantly updated) organ played in this High Gothic structure.
I once *heard* that there was some concern about the level of noise created by the Concord when it flew over Paris,
causing structural damage to Notre Dame,
but it was determined that the great organ had more decibels when opened up to full capacity.
