These two Czech police officers seem thoroughly caught up in their own conversation. They are members of the local police force, called the Mestska. Mostly these police deal with parking, traffic and lesser crimes. The state police or Policie do not show much respect for them. The Mestska were created in many Czech cities after the Velvet Revolution of 1989, partially as a way to restore citizens’ faith in the police.
