St. Patrick's Day 2009

The following pictures were taken at the Downtown Chicago St. Patrick's Day parade. In a tradition since the 1960's, the local plumbers Union 130 dye the Chicago River green, in a morning "ceremony" prior to the parade. It is truly a sight to see, and is the perfect backdrop for the day's events.
