There are those special places in each of our lives that when we go there, it simply makes us happy. It can be somewhere we go physically, or somewhere that allows our mind to wander to other places, about other things, or reminds us about a particular moment or stage of our lives. We may have been to this place only once, or could return a thousand times.

I decided to start a gallery in an attempt to identify what these places are in my own life, and in the process, be encouraged to make time in my schedule to photograph and re-visit these places that I hold dear.

Within each individual picture, I explain why these places or things are so meaningful to me.
