Lesson One for Canon 20D White Balance

For this lesson we had to take the same photo using autowhite balance, then change the camera presets like cloudy, shady, sunny, tungsten, then use custom white balance and compare the results. While I was shooting the ivy the sun came out from behind the clouds so I quickly restet white balance to sunny.I find that the presets for cloudy, shade, sunny make the subject look warmer. I've even used them for sunsets or objects in twilight and like the results. The lantern plant photo and horse photo is an example of this. These were taken a few days before the class started in great evening light.
