We just drove up out of the sand dunes of the gobi to this nomadic families Ger.
They were busy milking goats and sheep. The tiniest children dragged the animals
to be milked over to grandma and mom who did the milking. Grandpa watched and dad
help keep the ones milked separated from the ones not miled. The baby goats and sheep
had been separated before we arrived.
We then were invited into the Ger to try yogurt as some cooked on the stove.
Animal dung was used to keep the fire going. The mom asked me to take pictures of her and a puppy and a white calf. They were her favorites. I sent the pictures back to our guide to try and deliver if she can find them again. Usually folks in the vicinity will know how to locate them again.
