The tree on the right in the photo divides the water into two apparent segments. One starts in the lower center and travels up to the left. The nest moves from the left, further up and to the right. Even though it's only an illusion caused by the tree's position, it gives you two strong diagonals for the viewer's eye to follow. I found myself traveling up and around the tree several times to take in the reflection and the details of the banks. It is a very sound composition.
