Marsh Lousewort is a native, annual or biennial root-hemiparasitic herb,growing up to 60 cm.
Flowers are pink purple (2-2.5cm), with the upper lip darker than the 3-lobed lower, spreading lips.
The calyx is hairy with 2 leaf-like lobes. Stems are often purple.
Leaves are up to 4cm long, oblong with equal sized, pinnate lobes.
