These images capture a visit to White Island on a perfect day in May, 2009. Sue Reynolds, who is active with the Lighthouse Kids, took us on the "M/V Uncle Oscar." I was a stowaway among the several State officials who are involved with the maintenance of the island, including the lighthouse and the tern nesting project.
