Smith Monument Dedication at Ragged Neck


For the 400th anniversary of Captain John Smith's exploration and mapping of New England, a new memorial was built by the State of New Hampshire at Ragged Neck State Park in Rye, NH. It is located between the south end of Foss Beach and the north side of the entrance to Rye Harbor. Formal dedication took place August 14, 2014.
