This gallery contains pictures taken at the fall Gerrish Island cruise by kayak, paddle board, or rowing craft.

I started photographing this event in 2007, not knowing that would be the last formally organized event, after more than 30 years of cruises. There were at least 95 participants and I was able to be present at both start (Chauncey Creek) and finish (Fishing Rocks. I wrote an article for the online magazine "Rye Reflections," which unfortunately is no longer online.

Since then it has been hit and miss on photographing informal gatherings. Most of the participants are unknown to me and I welcome any names you can send. (Last updated 2019-10-06)
