Frances W. Guthrie, 91, of Memphis, TN. Services at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 15, 2005, at Memphis Funeral Home Germantown Parkway Chapel. Visitation will be from 4-8 Wednesday at Germantown Parkway Chapel. Mrs. Guthrie, a retired teacher of 38 years with Memphis City Schools, died September 11 at St. Francis Hospital. She was a member of Colonial Baptist Church. She also belonged to the Eastern Star and the D.A.R. She leaves a son, W. Brad Guthrie, Sr. of Memphis; a granddaughter Tonya Wright of Bartlett; 2 grandsons, W. Bill Guthrie, Jr. of Memphis and Tracey Guthrie of Fayette County.
