Here's a synopsis of the last 50 years:
My Dad's Air Force career took me from San Rafael HS, CA to Memphis, TN where I graduated from Memphis Central HS and went on to Oberlin College, OH where I majored in Art and met Ted Frankiewicz, the love of my life. After teaching a year in Harvey, IL near Chicago, our two daughters were born there and Ted's career took us to Washington DC for Watergate, Boston, MA for the Bicentennial, California (the OC) for the Olympics, Tulsa, OK for the Tornadoes, back to the OC for 10 years when I put our girls through UC San Diego and UC Davis by teaching upper division Math at Mater Dei HS, Santa Ana, and thence on to Houston for the Hurricanes (Katrina and Rita). There, after many years as a Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) lecturer, I entered Dallas Theological Seminary Houston extension in 2005, left my beloved Episcopal Church, embraced the United Methodist Church (UMC), continued seminary at Talbot School of Theology of Biola U in La Mirada, CA and finished the Masters of Divinity in 2010 at Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, CA. I am now in the ordination process of the UMC, hoping for commissioning in June of 2015. All prayers of support would be gratefully welcomed.
Our two lovely daughters have husbands and children of their own and live in So Cal not too far away in Newport Beach and in Palm Desert. Ted's career in Petroleum Engineering has taken us to many far and exotic places such as Thailand, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands for extended visits. He serves on the paper and speaker review committees of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, and is collaborating to write a graduate course on fluid separation technology, while still completing full time hours for SPEC Engineering in Fountain Valley, CA.
Ted and I are in residence at 200 Pacific Coast Hwy, unit 245, Huntington Beach, CA, 92648 across the street from Huntington Pier. We were looking forward to seeing you all at the CHS 50th Reunion in the hope that we would recognize and reconnect with each other after all these years, but somehow I did not receive the reunion notice. Do please get in touch if you wish. I can also be reached at email@example.com, or cell number: 714-475-9401
