Lawra Somervell Gregory Conklin of Alderson, West Virginia passed on to a new
life July 28, 2015. She was preceded in 2014 by her longtime companion, Michael
Paul Somerville. Lawra was born September 12, 1945 in Little Rock, AR. She
graduated Memphis Central High School, 1963. She attended Lake Erie College for
Women and Corcoran School of Art. She was a talented artist from an early age.
For the past twenty-five years, she had dedicated her talents to glorifying The Lord,
and her presence will always be felt with the wind through the tree tops of Flat
Mountain, West Virginia. Lawra leaves behind her son, Andrew J. Boots IV and two
grand-children. She will be greatly missed by her brother, Warner Gregory; her sister,
Melody Gregory Luse and their families. She joins her parents, Lawrence Oscar
Gregory and Ayleene Somervell Gregory; and Sojourner Boots in eternal peace. Please
do not send flowers, but instead consider a donation to a local organization helping
