To those who would like to read the short note to Caleb from David after their time together on a mission. They actually captured some insurgemts. It is kind of emotional for me to look at them remembering how happy David was when Caleb was born 25 and one half yeas ago and how he enjoyed playing with him. A sweet time together. There is a 14 year age difference between the two.

Dear Caleb,
I had a great time visiting you. You were a great host. I especially
enjoyed seeing what good rapport you have with your men. I can tell they
love and respect you.
I was very impressed with your leadership. You are doing an outstanding
job. You remain an articulate communicator and I like how calm you are on
the objective.
You have accomplished for more in your platoon than any of the platoons I
serve with. I was very impressed with all you have done and very proud of
you. I was proud to be associated with you.
Please give my greetings to SFC Miller and thank him again for the vest.
Give my greetings to your men and to 1SG and LTC Kearney.
I will be praying for you and trust God will lead you in the way you should
go as you trust him for the future.
I am enclosing some photographs. Thanks again for such a great time!!! It
was great to go on the Air Assault mission with you.
Love,
David

David,
Sounds great! I will be ready for you. I have some soldiers on leave, so I
am going to make my RTO stay in one of the other rooms so you can stay in my
living quarters. I will figure out a place for your assistant as well. Yeah,
not a whole lot is going on the next few days except for things that come up
as emergencies, so I should see you the night of the 1st. If I am not there,
when you get to the ADAG just ask someone to call the Baker Co TOC (509th)
or show you where it is and I will come link up with you. I can't wait to
see you bro!
Love,
Caleb
