Eskisehir is a large city in Central Turkey. Until the beginning of the 2000 the river (called Porsuk) running through the city was terribly polluted and there was no single living organism in there and it was impossible to cope with the bad smell coming from the river. And a miracle was created there within a decade. Eskisehir was designed all over. Today people can have sight seeing by boats, canoes and gondolas, and can swim and fish in the river. The surrounding area of the river became an entertainment and art centre of the city. There are numerous cafes and restaurants offering most beautiful Turkish cuisine a well as local food there. The historical parts of the city was also renovated and became another attraction area.
