I am also interested in you mangel wine recipe! I hope to grow some this year. Thanks!
Hi Colin -
I saw your review of the Red Mangel beets over at Baker Creek Seeds. I was wondering if you would be so kind as to share your recipe/technique for making wine out of these? I've got some started for our garden now, and I should have our fermenters cleared of the mead they're working on now in time for making some beet wine, and I'm eager to try!
Top Dog here fron the nikon gear website. Regarding the additonal photos from the Bristol Bedford match my e-mail address is gat_slc(at)hotmail(dot)com
Many, Many thanks
Ceildh, I just saw that you had commented on a couple photos in my Smug Mug gallery earlier this month. Thanks for the comments and sorry for not having responded earlier. In response to your question, the photo of the azaleas was taken just before sunset. I may have enhanced it a little in PP, but the lighting really was quite remarkable.
Celidh, Celtic name?. Thanks for your visit on the Sigma 150-500 gallery. We love our birds and try to take care of them, the photography came much later...
The Sigma is a great lens for the price and one should not be pixel pickers but just enjoy the shots of nature for what they are. Since I've moved to more expensive Nikon lenses, only use the Sigma on occasions when I need a light, easily handled lens on the road. Thanks again for your comments and bravo for your shots, Peter
I saw something on DPReview about you wanting to possibly sell an older 300 f4. Do you still have it? You can contact me at greenman3 (at) mac (dot) com.
Really enjoyed your photos. GMV!!
Because I tried other methods of posting images onto the web and they were all more trouble than PBase.
Hope you like the extra images that I've added. Let me know what you think.
