This image of Phil was taken through the concrete stilts that support the old Chief's House. This house, (also locally known as "Penghulu's House") was built in the Malay style where it is raised from the ground to ventilate and keep the house cool in hot climates. It is usually open to visitors, but unfortunately, it was closed for restoration when we were there, so Phil makes the most of it from the outside.
