Everytime I stand before these mountains on Langkawi Island , I feel like I am in a time before humans existed - when earth was dotted with erupting & bubbling volcanoes, and when strange creatures roamed the earth. These mountains are infact not volcanoes but 600 million year-old sandstone mountains. I was fortunate that the interesting formation of clouds that moment gave me the opportunity to make an image that resembled an active volcano billowing smoke into the sky, breathing life into this very ancient and spectacular place.
