I just noticed that this shot was taken on the 8th of October, my birthday; it gave me a thrill of pleasure to realize that this picture (which reminds me of the birth of human life) and the artist who took it, come into my field of vision at a time when I am being "reborn" into a new stage of creative development with my photography. The synchronicities keep on coming! And they make me happy...

What an evocative photo, Cecilia, an illustration of man's own crawl out of the ocean as a simpler organism, long ago. The light, the perspective, the haunting ragged mini-mountains in the background, a moment that could be either dawn or dusk, and the prints along the water seeming to whisper of life having evolved from the sea, to become lonely, wandering individuals.
