The Samburu love to sing and dance, and they do it with passion and zeal. The roles of women and men in the Samburu society are often very specific and do not overlap, and this seems to be reflected in their dancing too. The men and women here come together, coordinating their singing and dancing, but each sex consciously keeps to their side of the dance formation.
