The Lycinian Baths was quite a large complex with tall ceilings, columns and intricate mosaic flooring. The puddles of water left by the rain created reflections of the building which allowed me to capture the essence of this site. The water was for me a representation of the bathing activities here, and the reflections not only added a descriptive context to the image, but also remind us that we are only looking at fragments of a once distant but glorious past.
