Kukup is a village on stilts (once upon a time), now it houses tourist by building villas for rental at a very cheap price of S$55 for an overnight stay with 2 lunch and 1 dinner thrown in as well as breakfast and tea time snacks. Not a very hygienic place but a good place for photography.
Apart from Kukup we also visited Tanjong Piai which is the southernmost tip of the asian continent.
Minimum amount of people staying is 10 and up to 20 per villa. They provide you with 3 or 5 aircond rooms and each room can house around 4 to 6 people. Price is excluding transport. The name card of one of the owners is included and you can contact him to make arrangement to visit for the weekend.
The seafood lunches and dinner were really bountiful and tasty.
