Hong Kong in June is very hot. Everything is expensive here. Taxi starts at HK$18. The STAR Ferry between Hong and Kowloon is cheap - only HK$2. Trams are also HK$2 per trip and its worthwhile to take the tram as it spans the island from North Point to Kennedy Town.
Good food fine dining - try Wu Kong Restaurant (12th floor) of Times Square and for fine french dining try Le Blanc (minimum HK300 for a western course of appetiser, soup, entree and desert and drinks) at Wan Chai.
Must visit the Hong Kong and Kowloon harbours for great views day and evening and night.
Tai O in Lantau Island is also a must visit, with its stilt village and salted fish.
