China Hainan

Revisited Hainan from 14th to 21st March 2009 and the weather is good - from 10 to 27 degrees.
A little bit cold on the first 2 days at Haikou but as we travelled to Sanya it gets warmer.
8 days and 7 nights inclusive of food and lodgings for 2000 yuan is really a little bit too cheap
hence the hotels were not even 3 stars and as its the touring season for the locals, there were people everywhere.
My advise is pay a little bit more and get at least 3 stars hotels.
This time the total cost is also around S650 (incl. air fares)

Hot is not the word for the weather in Hainan between May to October, the right word is Very Hot 34 to 39 Degrees!
Advisable to visit from November to March for cooler weather condition.
Food is plentiful and cheap but extra salty, overcooked and rather oily.
Would be wise to ask to put less salt, oil and not overcook the food.
Despite that its still tasty and definitely plentiful.
Very affordable trip, air fare is S$185, tour for 6 nights inclusive of breakfast, lunch,
and dinner as well as tickets to some locations is S$330.
Shopping, massage, pedicure, etc, another S$150. All in is S$665.
