China's Yuan Yang in southern Yunnan is famous for its beautiful rice terraces, a photographer's must visit place. I hope the pictures taken here do justice to such a beautiful place. Unfortunately it was very misty and cloudy and no sun could be seen throughout except for a few minutes on the second day when it peeped out of the clouds for a few minutes and that few minutes was sufficient to get a nice sunrise shot.
The tour company EcoTravelVietnam this time did not give value for money in my opinion. Even the arrangement was pretty bad, we had to wait in a cafe for 7 hrs for the train from Lao Cai to Hanoi which means 1 whole day at roughly US100 a day wasted.
You have to pay 120 yuan to visit the rice terraces.
