Cheap hotels goes for US20 per night twin sharing. Tuk tuk is US$1.00 around town. Transport for a car is US20 per day. 3 days ticket to Ang Kor Watt is US40 (you'll need the 3 days), the ticket can be used for many places. Ang Kor Watt opens at 5am and sunrise is around 5.30am, the best place is right in front of the lily pond, so you can shoot just outside at the moat, just inside, or at the lily pond farther in. Its about 30 minutes ride from Siem Reap.
A half day trip to the floating village Tonle Sap is a must - US10. The Amoke Fish and Coconut at Mr Bun Try's restaurant Ankor Palm is a famous local dish.
The War Museum is just beside the airport and cost US$3 per entry. The war had ravaged this land and there are still 13 million land mines around the country and its a sad sight to see children without arm or leg.
