I was trying out panning for this one. I should have lowered the ISO (oops!) and maybe a couple of ND filters would have come in handy to cut the light I think.

I took this at the BP MS150 bike tour in Austin this weekend. The ride is 180 some miles from Houston to Austin and all money raised goes to MS research.

Good pan; you probably could not have gotten very much more background blur without blurring the bicyclist. I think you hit the sweet spot.
