Full Moon

I went back out into the cold tonight. After I got done I remembered that I forgotten to lock up the mirror on the 40D. Still I think it is a great shot of the moon.

Canon EOS 40D ,Canon EF 600mm f/4L IS USM
1/25s f/11.0 at 840.0mm iso400 Canon EF 600mm f/4L IS USM + Canon EF 1.4X Extender II full exif

Looks like your off to a nice start Rich. Just my opinion, but you might want to raise your shutter speed and lower your f/number. Your lens will be plenty sharp many stops lower and the higher shutter speeds will serve you better and get you to the point where locking the shutter won't be needed. Don't be afraid to up ISO to 800 as well on the 40D esp on a full moon.
