Snowy Sunset
by Steve Sprengel

Lincoln, Nebraska

The storm clouds cleared just before sunset, so I ran across the street in the 20F temperatures and shot a
plus-shape of five fisheye shots, converted them with Lightroom, and stitched and cropped with AutoPano.

The resulting image was much too bright due to the camera metering everything to midtones, so I dimmed it down and strengthened the colors more like I remember seeing, using Adobe Camera RAW. Lightroom has the same adjustments, but at this point I was using alot of memory rendering other panoramas, so didn't feel like starting up Lightroom, and just used Bridge and ACR, instead.

Canon EOS 300D Digital Rebel ,Sigma 8mm f/3.5 EX DG Circular Fisheye
1/50s f/4.0 at 8.0mm iso200, 5 shots stitched with AutoPano full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Nice and wide - good job with the stitching. I like to see something in the near foreground to add interest anchor the eye in these wide shots though.
