Museum Model of Buckler's Hard
by

Buckler's Hard was a ship-building site.

Official website: http://www.beaulieu.co.uk/bucklershard/introduction.cfm

More recently, reknown as the home marina of Sir Francis Chichester,
who sailed singled-handed around the world.

There is no ship-building now
- just the site and a maritime museum.

I agree with CJ. The POV of looking at a model of the real thing is powerful and interesting. This pic works on many levels.

Okay, even if it's just a model, I find this particular "overhead
viewpoint" to be the coolest of them all. It just seem to me,
you know, the most interesting composition, and all the more
so because it shows good relationship between "things".
