Even without the enigmatic shadow, this is a lovely image - I especially like the crumbling texture of the bridge and the beautiful reflection in the canal.

Definitely the green, green grass of home - wonderful to see some sun! We couldn't have made a shadow during the past two weeks!

Well that isn't the Tamron 17 - 50mm so it must be your alter ego with the Canon 70 - 200mm, glad you finally got a bit of sun John....Jess.
