Another lovely image - this weekend in the UK a couple of swallows were insect-catching high in the sky - a wonderful sight!

Gary, the sexes are too similar to tell apart. It has been a tough spring for swallows. It has been colder than normal and the flying insects they feast on are scarce and as a result thousands of returning swallows have perished. Just in my little neck of the woods thousands have died from starvation. This northern rough winged is passing through on his way north. Janet
