The final test of an all night cooking binge

One of our employees retired this week and Wendy spent the night before cooking up a storm for his party. Here my boss, Doug, taste tests one of her cookies.

The verdict? Delicious :)

This is an uncropped "blind" shot, camera held out at arms length and just hoping I got focus someplace reasonable.

This is great! I love the distortion to it and the focus on his hand, at the expense of his face.
It's really a fun shot!

That shot worked out very nicely. I'm beginning to think the biggest obstacle to good composition is looking through the viewfinder. Just stick our arms out with the camera and fire away.

I do hope your boss has a sense of humor? :)
