I like it. Perhaps a B&W or sepis tone would add to this (and would certainly make that red car less noticable). As is though it certainly conveys a feeling of communication with the woman jabbering away incessantly and the poor man pretending to listen :)
No the cropping on the bottom is too tight - they have nowhere to walk into. I like the shot it cojures up images of friendhip, winter and greyness (in more senses than one)
