I started with Liz's image copied and pasted from the Assignment page.
Steps:
--Duplicate image.
--Working with the top layer:
*Image/Adjustments/Desaturate (turns it B&W)
*Filter/Blur/SmartBlur. Radius: 3. Threshold: 25. Quality: High. Mode: Edge Only. (Makes it mostly black with some skinny white lines)
*Image/Adjustments/Invert (Makes it white with some skinny black lines).
*Filter/Artistic/PosterEdges EdgeThickness: 1. Edge Intensity: 5. Posterization: 2. (Black lines are a bit thicker)
--Working with bottom layer:
*Filter/Artistic/DryBrush Brush size: 0. Brush Detail: 7. Texture: 1. (Looks like a water color on its own)
--Working with the top layer:
*Double click on the image icon on the layer. Blending Mode: Multiply (Now you can see through the white areas of the top layer through to the bottom colored layer)
*Reduce opacity of the layer to 34% (Makes the black lines more translucent)
--Layer/FlattenImage (makes it all 1 layer)
--Filter/Texture/Texturizer/ Canvas. Scaling: 62%. Relief: 3%. (makes it look like it's on water color paper)
