Nice! I have a thing for locks :) And I think the bacgound just serves to lead my eye up the chain and to the lock. Well done!

I love the colors.... great shot! I have to agree about the background... hmmm. Not sure what I'd do with it, but I love the overall image.

oohh texture! i like the gold/silver contrast. i might do some cloning of that back wall and have it go out in a straight line rather than seeing the end vertical there? i do really like the overal tones, though
